La Plagne

Where to stay

La Plagne is a dozen villages, from functional high-altitude resorts to traditional valley hamlets. The valley floor remains the cheapest base and the best served by rail.

Worth noting: Courchevel and Val d'Isère also host events in the same valley. A well-chosen base lets you cover several venues from one place.

The resort for the rest of the winter

Paradiski links La Plagne to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express cable car: 425 km of piste. The 1992 bob track is open to the public in a two-seat luge or a bob taxi — a genuinely rare experience.
